Blackmores I-Folic^™ contains both iodine and folic acid which are important preconception nutrients. Iodine is an essential nutrient required for normal thyroid function, and is important for a baby’s brain development, visual skills, motor skills and hearing. Folic acid, if taken prior to conception, may reduce the risk of women having a child with birth defects of the brain and/or spinal cord, such as spina bifida. Folic acid is also one of the nutrients necessary for the production of normal red blood cells.

Dosage
